Gabriel Martinelli update
Gabriel Martinelli was one of Arsenal’s brighter sparks last season.
The 19-year-old would score 10 and assist four across 26 outings for the Gunners, including the below strike vs Chelsea in the Premier League:

However, the Brazilian’s campaign was brought to a premature end, suffering a knee injury which has seen him miss the start of 2020/21.
And given Arsenal’s lack of goals this season, they would probably love to have the youngster back as soon as possible.
But Martinelli does look to be edging closer to a return, with a positive update forthcoming on Wednesday.
According to the Evening Standard, the forward is aiming to play for Arsenal’s under-23 side this month.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s donation
Elsewhere on the Arsenal front, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has made the news for a generous donation.
The Arsenal captain is understood to have donated £2,000 to help fund the treatment of a four-year-old girl who is battling an unknown genetic condition.
The girl’s name is Ivy Hayward and her family have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for her treatment, with the target goal currently stands at £10,000.
It is understood the money will be used to help pay for Ivy to attend weekly physiotherapy sessions, have monthly speech and language therapy and possibly purchase an iKAN brace.
