“Frustratingly mute” – 5 most underwhelming and disappointing players of the Autumn Nations Series

Here is a list of the most underwhelming and disappointing players during the 2021 Autumn Nations Series.

#1. Finn Russell (Scotland)

Arrived for the Autumn Nations Series promising to be one of the stars of the action, but was the most disappointing player in a Scotland side that flattered to deceive.

While Stuart Hogg and Duhan van de Merwe both impressed at times, Russell remained frustratingly mute, providing only glimpses of his undoubted talent

His month was summed up by an errant kick allowed Matsushima to carve through the Scotland defence as Japan took the lead.
