Hull vs Chelsea
Saturday’s late FA Cup 4th round tie sees Premier League outfit Chelsea travel to Championship side, Hull City.
The Blues faced another Championship side in the previous round, seeing off Nottingham Forest by two goals to nil.
As for Hull, they edged past Rotherham in the 3rd round.
Given Chelsea are out of the League Cup and have German powerhouse Bayern Munich in the next round of the Champions League, this competition may represent Frank Lampard’s best chance of clinching silverware in his first season in the Stamford Bridge dugout.
Chelsea have won the FA Cup eight times, last doing so in 2018 when Antonio Conte was at the helm.
Lampard would hold his pre-Hull press conference on Friday.
During the presser, the Chelsea boss confirmed that Willy Caballero will be between the sticks vs the Tigers:
“Yes, Willy will start tomorrow. I am very happy for Willy to be at the club and I have found him as nothing but professional and he is very talented in training day-in day-out and when he gets his opportunity to play, so yes.” As quoted by football.london.

Lampard on Soumare
Lampard was also asked about Chelsea’s interest in Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare on Friday.
The 20-year-old Frenchman is one of the hottest prospects currently honing his craft in Ligue 1.
And Chelsea are among a number of Premier League clubs to have been linked with Soumare this month.
But when asked if the Lille standout is on his radar, Lampard stated he isn’t for this window:
“I am aware of him as a player, but he is not on our radar for this window. We played against him, but he is not one on the immediate radar. Albeit he is a good player, but he is another club’s player.” As quoted by football.london.
However, given Lampard specified Soumare isn’t on their radar for this window, could that mean Chelsea are looking at him for the summer?
