Australia have named their squad for the upcoming autumn tour of the UK and Ireland, and it’s filled with surprises! Rugby league star Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii is in, along with former Leicester Tigers wing Harry Potter, who’s making headlines for his debut selection.

Potter, born in Wimbledon and raised in both Bristol and Melbourne, is eligible for both England and Australia, but it’s the Wallabies who’ve given him the nod.
Potter, a 2022 Premiership Rugby champion with Leicester Tigers, was overlooked for international honours during his stint in England. But his luck has changed, earning him a spot in Joe Schmidt’s 34-man squad.
Also joining the squad are young Waratahs fly-half Tane Edmed, who’s just 21, and powerhouse La Rochelle lock Will Skelton, back after an injury that kept him out of last year’s World Cup.
Japan-based centre Samu Kerevi also returns, adding some serious firepower to Australia’s four-Test tour.
Wallabies coach Schmidt said: “The squad has had a chance to regenerate over the last few weeks. At the same time, it was good to catch up with a wider group of players in the two-day training hubs we had in Canberra and Brisbane last week.
“We have a relatively consistent group but will integrate a few new players on tour. Trying to balance opportunities for players, some recent squad members will get much needed game time with Australia XV, which also enables us to broaden our cohort of players in what will be highly competitive fixtures.”
