England red card. Second-row Charlie Ewels was sent off after just 82 seconds minutes for a reckless tackle on Ireland lock James Ryan.
Referee Mathieu Raynal has this to say about the matter to England’s captain Courtney Lawes.
“It’s the responsibility of the player not to put himself in a reckless position which could injury another player. It’s high speed and a high degree of danger, with clear head contact so it’s a red card against No 5.”
