Judge Sebastian Prentis has dismissed a bankruptcy petition filed by tax officials against former England rugby union star Lawrence Dallaglio.
An HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) official informed him that a ‘voluntary agreement’ had been reached during an Insolvency and Companies Court hearing in London on Wednesday.
Back in May, the judge had granted Dallaglio an extension to settle his tax debt of approximately £700,000.
On Wednesday, he announced the petition’s dismissal and stated during the hearing, ‘I am pleased that that ends this saga.’
