Despite continuing his playing career with Top 14 side Toulon, Biggar expressed his disinclination towards coaching post-retirement.
“I’m thoroughly enjoying my involvement in media,” Biggar remarked
“I’m not sure I want to do much coaching,” he said. “Every coach I look at looks about 10 years older than they are! And they look as if they aren’t really enjoying life particularly on a day-to-day basis.
“I love doing some media pieces, I’m looking to try to do some public speaking and bits and pieces like that for some companies. I’m looking to do little bits and pieces rather than focus on one thing but I love the media stuff.
“It still keeps you involved in a matchday, keeps you in the loop with what’s going on with the game as well, so I’ve really enjoyed that, but I can’t see myself coaching, certainly not on a club basis. It looks like a job which not many people take too much pleasure from if I’m honest!”
