Bristol Bears have confirmed their coaching team ahead of the resumption of the 2019/20 campaign in August.
The 2019/20 coaching team is as follows:
Pat Lam (Director of Rugby): The leader of the organisation, Lam assumes overall responsibility for game plan, Team attack and Team defence.
Conor McPhillips (Assistant Coach): Now in his eighth season with Lam, McPhillips coaches the Backs and assists Lam on Team attack.
John Muldoon (Forwards Coach): Former Irish International Muldoon will coach the Forwards having previously served as Defence Coach.
Omar Mouneimne (Defence & Collision Coach): Newly arrived Mouneimne will assist Lam on Team defence.
Sean Marsden (Skills & Kicking Coach): Long serving Bristolian Marsden will be responsible for the Skills programme for the club.
Alasdair Dickinson (Scrum Coach): Former Scottish international prop Dickinson is responsible for scrummaging set piece across the club.
Jordan Crane (Bears Academy Transition Coach): Following his retirement as a professional player, Crane will work with the Integrated Academy, scholarship programme and U18s programme to ensure all players are physically, technically and mentally prepared for the standards required to represent the Bears first team.
Danny Grewcock (Bears Academy Transition Coach) Former England international Grewcock will oversee the transition of players from the Bears Junior Academy to the Senior Academy and will also continue to coach the U18s alongside Crane.
Both Crane and Grewcock will also be valuable mentors for our Senior Academy players coming through our Bears Pathway.
