Ezgjan Alioski was on the scoresheet as Leeds United recorded a 2-0 win over Hull City in Tuesday night’s Championship clash at Elland Road.
The attacker was named on the bench for the Whites but entered in the 69th minute and scored the home side’s second of the night in the 82nd.
Alioski was also among the goals against Huddersfield Town at the weekend, and many Leeds fans took to social media to hail the 27-year-old for his latest contribution.
In addition to his goal, WhoScored have the North Macedonia international down as boasting a 100% pass success rate from his 21+ minutes on the field.

Others were keen to stress that Alioski should have started the match, although head coach Marcelo Bielsa might argue that he made the perfect call as the attacker looked fresh upon entering the field.
Should be starting over a loan

Alioski deserves a start.2 in 2 & we carry a much greater threat going forward when he’s on the pitch .

No disrespect to Harrison, but Alioski is miles ahead of him in my opinion, would be interesting to see him start on that left wing #LUFC

Leeds are absolutely flying at the moment – winning each of their last seven in the Championship to rise to the top of the table.
Not only are the Whites 11 points clear of Fulham in third, they are 14 points clear of seventh-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
It remains to be seen whether the club can finally secure a return to the Premier League, but Tuesday proved to be another hugely positive night as Hull, who remain down in 13th, were dispatched in fairly routine fashion.
Meanwhile, a number of Leeds fans were delighted with the performance of one of their defenders against Huddersfield at the weekend.
