Premier League giants Arsenal have, on Saturday, been handed a boost on the personnel front.
The Gunners, of course, are currently in the process of stepping up preparations for the fast-approaching English top-flight campaign.
Mikel Arteta’s troops have made their way to the United States, to see out a trio of outings before returning to base in north London for next weekend’s Emirates Cup.
This past Thursday, the capital heavyweights put MLS outfit Orlando City to the sword by three goals to one, courtesy of strikes on the part of Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson.

One key member of Mikel Arteta’s ranks to have missed out on the triumph, though, came in the form of Emile Smith Rowe.
This came amid suggestions that the England international had suffered an altogether untimely thigh injury.
ESR, in turn, was labelled as an immediate doubt to feature this weekend, too, when Arsenal are primed to see out their tour of the USA in a showdown with London rivals Chelsea.
If the latest word stemming from the club’s training ground is anything to go by, however, then fans of the Gunners need not fret.
This comes with confirmation having been forthcoming that Arsenal’s gifted academy product has returned to training alongside the rest of Arteta’s first-team squad.
The 21-year-old, in turn, is expected to play his part in at least some capacity when the north Londoners return to action in the early hours of Sunday morning.
