All the details as Man City table mammoth Erling Haaland proposal

An insight into the financial details of an alleged proposal tabled by Premier League giants Manchester City for Erling Haaland has been provided on Monday evening.

The subject of Haaland’s future has of course been rampant in the media for some time now.

This comes with the Norwegian sensation set to be available at a cut-price fee this summer, when a clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract comes into play.

A whole host of European football’s heavyweights, in turn, are expected to express a keen interest in his signature.

And now, as alluded to above, one such outfit have made their first move.

As per a report from Italian transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City have positioned themselves front and centre in the Haaland sweepstakes courtesy of an eye-watering proposal, tabled this weekend.

The offer is understood to be based around €75 million to cover the striker’s Dortmund release clause, backed by a whopping €70 million in various commissions.

On top of that, a contract spanning five years was put before Haaland himself, featuring wages of €30 million-per-season, amounting to a total of €150 million.

Real Madrid to miss out

Interestingly, Di Marzio’s report also provides an insight into Haaland’s stance on a potential move to another of the continent’s biggest clubs.

The outfit in question? Real Madrid.

In a blow to any of a Blancos persuasion holding out hope of Dortmund’s talisman joining forces with Kylian Mbappe at the Bernabeu this summer, though, it is claimed that the Norwegian, to this point, has been left altogether unconvinced by the offerings put forth by those in a position of power in the Spanish capital.
