He may just be 19, but Celtic rising star Jeremie Frimpong is already developing a burgeoning reputation in the game.
The Dutchman played 19 times for the senior side last season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the Scottish Premiership alone.
How’s your Celtic knowledge? Always been a loyal fan? Well can you spot Stilian Petrov from John Hartson? Give it a go if you’re brave enough …

This campaign has seen Neil Lennon trust him even more, starting him in Celtic’s opening three league games. But after coming off the bench mid-way through the second-half against Motherwell on Sunday afternoon, Frimpong showed exactly why he is such a promising talent.
Aside from being involved in Christopher Jullien’s injury-time strike in his side’s 3-0 win, he completed two dribbles, provided two key passes and created one official big chance too – pretty impressive for a 28-minute cameo.
And after seeing his performance, Celtic fans took to Twitter to share his reactions.
@JeremieFrimpong is an absolute superstar in the making

Young Frimpong brings so much to the game.
The team worked very hard to break through the wells defence and patience paid off.
McGregor wow.
Big Julian took his goal well.

Yip got to play and Ajeti natural striker looks to me. Frimpong gets players on the back foot. Gets fouls gets you up the park. Must play for me

Big difference once Frimpong and strikers came on. Young Frimpong can be the next Agathe. Taylors play not conducive to the Celtic style and I don’t think he has it to make thd step up. Agree NL should never play without a striker again and at Celtic Park!!

A couple of fans talked up how Frimpong is a “game-changer”, and that his ability to take players on and be direct with the ball is something that gives Celtic an extra edge to their attack.
Frinpong is a game changer he’s the only one willing to take on his man each and every time frees up space for other players too, klimala stretched them out a bit too

Thought he changed the game and style of play. Fast and direct and created huge space. No sideways passing and standing still

It’s no surprise that Celtic fans are in love with Frimpong at the moment.
The youngster is bringing energy and drive to this team as they chase for a historic tenth league title in a row, and if his early performances this season are anything to go by, then he could be a major reason why they go on to do it.
Frimpong is both for the future and for the now.
