Manchester City’s collapse at Wolves last night saw Pep Guardiola set an altogether-unwanted personal top-flight record.

The Sky Blues travelled to Molineux a little under 24 hours ago, for their latest league outing.
The matchup was viewed as a crucial one ahead of kick-off, if City maintained any hope of mounting an unlikely challenge to runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool.
The Reds’ 4-0 drubbing of 2nd-placed Leicester on Thursday had seen Jurgen Klopp’s men move a staggering 13 points clear of the Foxes, and 14 clear of champions City.
But, when all was said and done at Molineux, the Citizens again failed to get the job done.
City actually took the lead, courtesy of Raheem Sterling. The English international then went on to add his 2nd of the evening shortly after the interval, despite Ederson having been given his marching orders early on.
The remaining half-hour+, though, saw the champions collapse in spectacular fashion.
Adama Traore first pulled one back for Wolves, before a pair of strikes from Raul Jimenez and Matt Doherty in the closing 10 minutes eventually saw the clash turned on its head, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s men emerge with all 3 points.

Pep’s possession struggles
As outlined above, meanwhile, City’s defeat last night also saw Pep Guardiola set an unwanted personal record.
After Ederson’s dismissal, and particularly over the course of the second-half, Wolves unsurprisingly dominated possession.
In fact, the 90 minutes incredibly saw the hosts restrict City to less than 38% of the ball.
This is of course a rarity for a Guardiola-led side, with it having since been confirmed that this figure marks the lowest possession percentage ever held by one of the Spaniard’s outfits in a league fixture, over the course of his decade+ in management.
