The first images of Barcelona’s predicted home kit for the 2022/23 campaign have surfaced online this week.
Back to basics
Much talk has of course surrounded the changing designs of the jersey sported by La Liga powerhouse Barca at the Camp Nou of late.
This comes with leaked photos of the club’s home kit for next season having gone viral across social media.
The look, which features a striking half-and-half design, has largely split the Blaugrana faithful, with some in support of the modern twist, whilst others plead for a return to the club’s classic stripes.

If the first pictures of Barcelona’s predicted home strip for the 2022/23 campaign are anything to go by, though, then the latter soon look set to have their prayers answered.
As per the reliable Footy Headlines, Nike are set to revert to the beloved thin-striped design for the Catalans’ home jersey the season after next.
The look immediately invokes memories of Barca’s kits of the late 90s/early 2000s, with simple vertical stripes, in red, light blue and navy.

Clasico clash
Whilst Barcelona’s fresh look takes centre stage on Friday, this weekend, Ronald Koeman and co. will turn their attentions very much back towards matters on the pitch.
This comes with the Blaugrana set to return to La Liga action in one of the most highly anticipated fixtures of the season.
Barca will make the trip to the Bernabeu in 24 hours’ time, for the latest edition of El Clasico.
The clash marks an absolutely crucial one in the race for the Spanish top-flight title, with the Catalans, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid all separated by just three points as things stand.
The outcome of Saturday’s showdown could therefore go on to play a central role in who eventually reigns supreme in La Liga in 2020/21.
