Tottenham pair Danny Rose & Kyle Walker-Peters expected to seal loan moves this week – ES

The Evening Standard has reported on Monday that Tottenham pair Danny Rose and Kyle-Walker Peters are set to seal loan moves this week.

The ES claims Spurs would prefer to sell the duo permanently but the North London outfit are resigned to allowing them to leave on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy in the summer.

Rose’s time at Tottenham coming to an end?

Danny Rose has been on Tottenham’s books since 2007 and has made over 200 appearances for the Lilywhites.

However, it appears Rose, who is now 29, has become somewhat of a fringe player in recent times.

Rose notched up a fair few appearances at the beginning of the campaign.

But since Jose Mourinho has taken the reins at Tottenham, Rose has seen his game time become increasingly limited.

Rose has featured in just three of the 12 Premier League games Mourinho has taken charge of for Spurs.

And in recent weeks, it appears Jan Vertonghen, Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga have moved above Rose in the left-back pecking order.

Rose will also have to compete with Ben Davies for a spot at left-back once the Welshman returns from injury.

Now though, it looks like Rose is resigned to the fact he is no longer a key player for Spurs.

The aforementioned report from the Evening Standard claims Bournemouth, Watford and Newcastle are all interested in the England international’s signature with Rose said to have accepted the time is right to leave Tottenham.

Walker-Peters to Southampton or Crystal Palace?

Like Rose, Kyle-Walker Peters has been deprived of game time this term.

Barring three appearances at the beginning of the campaign, KWP has not featured for Spurs in the league this season.

And it looks as though Walker-Peters could move to another Premier League outfit with the ES claiming the young defender is set to choose between Crystal Palace and Southampton, provided both agree a deal with Spurs before the close of the winter window.
