Aston Villa have already been linked with various strikers this January, including Olivier Giroud, Michy Batshuayi and Cenk Tosun.
This comes with Wesley’s season prematurely ending due to the injury he picked up at Burnley and the immediate need for a replacement.
The latest, and seemingly among the most exciting of names to be linked with a move to Villa Park is AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek.
It has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio that they top the list of suitors for the Poland international, having made a €30m [£25.4m] bid.

The would also be seen as a signal of intent from the club’s hierarchy as they bid to stay in the Premier League for another season.
After all, this is a striker who scored 22 times in Serie A last season, across spells with Genoa and AC Milan, while he also has five goals from ten international appearances.
Villa fans are urging the club to secure the signing, with one saying “come on Suso, bring home the goods”.
That would be some statement! Don’t belive it,but it really would be saying something!
