Who: The Killed And Born Again Tour: Bad Omens, Oh, Sleeper, Thousand Below, Bloodline, Marzy Maddox

Where: Baltimore Soundstage, Baltimore, Maryland

When: March 3, 2020

On March 3, Bad Omens brought their first ever headlining tour to Baltimore, Maryland. The venue, Baltimore Soundstage, decided to forego their usual barricade for the night, so all of the bands played in a much more intimate setting than expected.

Local band Marzy Maddox got the show started off with their progressive rock. Up next was Bloodline. They were able to get the first mosh pit of the night going, and the crowd jumped and moved along for their whole set. Thousand Below started their set with “Disassociate,” before going into an older song, “Tradition.” After that, they played the first single off of their newest album, Gone In Your Wake, which was released this past fall, “Chemical.” The band had a small technical issue at the end of that song, but nothing that distracted from their performance. Thousand Below had the first stage diver of the night, and closed out their set with “Alone (Out Of My Head).”

By the time that Oh, Sleeper took the stage, everybody was running a bit behind the scheduled set times due to some technical difficulties. Oh, Sleeper had to cut their set short by a couple of songs due to the time constraints, and they were only able to play six songs. During the time they had, they interacted a lot with the crowd, letting fans sing the words into the microphone. Bloodline’s vocalist Joseph Todd and Bad Omens’ vocalist Noah Sebastian both had guest spots on different songs.

Before long, Bad Omens finally came on stage. Sebastian referenced that Baltimore is drummer Nick Folio’s hometown. By the third song, “The Worst in Me,” people began stage diving. On songs like “Careful What You Wish For,” the band had everybody in the room singing along. The technical difficulties mentioned before ended up impacting Bad Omens’ set too. Since they were short on time, instead of leaving the stage to come back on for a two song encore, Sebastian made sure that everybody did want to hear the final two songs before the band immediately started playing them. After “Glass Houses” and “Burning Out,” Bad Omens left the stage and ended the night.
