Paper Talk: More winger woe for Man Utd as Parma swoop; Tottenham reject £1.5m loan offer

Manchester United look to have been beaten to the signing of Amad Traore, while Dele Alli is set to remain with Tottenham, all in the papers.

UNITED MISS AMAD DEAL

Manchester United have reportedly missed out on a deal for Amad Traore, according to Sky Italia.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was understood to be a big admirer of the 18-year-old, but the teenager is set to join Parma on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.

The broadcaster claim Parma have agreed a loan deal for the attacker, who is set to spend the season with the Serie A’s bottom side.

United were working on a deal to sign the Atalanta winger Amad Traore before Monday’s transfer deadline day.

The Manchester Evening News claimed that talks were progressing and there was cautious optimism from United over a deal.

However, the move for the 18-year-old was described as ‘not straightforward’ by MEN sources.
