Marcus Rashford insists England will win more games with Jack Grealish in the team

Marcus Rashford has been heaping praise on Jack Grealish recently following the midfielder’s starring displays for England.

Jack Grealish impressing with England

England played out their final friendly meeting ahead of Euro 2020 on Sunday.

The Three Lions, like they did vs Austria in midweek, would come away from the game with a 1-0 win.

With so many players out due to fitness issues or because of their club commitments at the end of 2020/21, the two games did not offer very little in the way of showing how England will get on this summer.

What they did show, however, was that Jack Grealish needs to start every game for England at Euro 2020.

The Aston Villa standout shone in both games, with his ability to run at players and carry the ball huge for England.

Grealish would win the penalty for Marcus Rashford’s goal against Romania, with his display also earning him the Player of the Match award.

Rashford praises England teammate Jack Grealish

On the back of his latest showings for England, fans are quite rightly voicing their opinion that Grealish should be starting at the tournament.

And one man who seemingly agrees with this is Manchester United and England star, Marcus Rashford.

When speaking about his teammate following Sunday’s game, Rashford voiced his opinion that England will win more games with Grealish in the side:

“He is a great player. He will definitely grow and grow in an England shirt.

“We know from training and the Premier League what he can and for us, it’s just about allowing him to reach his potential in an England shirt.

“We will win more games with him in the team.”
