EA Sports’ FIFA 20 is hitting the shelves pretty soon.
And as we approach that day, new updates, sneak peeks, and improvements to the game are all coming to light. And as it usually happens, the newest editions of the game bring about some serious changes.
This year’s iteration saw the inclusion of some new FIFA icons, or rather, legends of the game that get their special FIFA cards with incredible stats to show for.
Ian Wright was the one getting his brand new card yesterday, and today, it was ex-Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba’s time.
The great forward took to Instagram to celebrate this big moment and he captioned it with “Guess who’s back”.
Needless to say, it left some other superstars and fans in awe.
Considering Drogba’s achievements throughout his rich career, it does seem like a surprise this happened only now and not earlier.
Ian Wright and Felipe Melo were among a handful of others to respond to his post.
Drogba is a Blue through and through, having played a total of 381 games for Chelsea, scoring 164 goals and assisting 86 in the process.
He also won 105 caps for the Ivory Coast, tallying 65 goals along the way.
