England powerhouse Ollie Lawrence set to leave Worcester

England powerhouse centre Ollie Lawrence is a transfer target for Newcastle Falcons in 2022, according to The Rugby Paper.

The Birmingham-born player, who has been urged to leave Worcester by Stuart Barnes, and will likely exit Siways at the end of next season.

It’s been reports that the the Falcons are the first team to make contact, ‘asking about him after hearing his parents were moving north.’.

The story then goes onto say that Lawrence is keeping his options open for now as he joins up with the England squad ahead of the 2021 Six Nations.

Having played for England Under 18s and England Under 20s, the latter at aged 18, he was first called up to the senior squad in the summer of 2018 ahead of the summer tour to South Africa.

The 21-year-old made his Worcester debut aged 18 in the Anglo-Welsh Cup in 2017 and has developed into regular in their backline.
