Los Angeles producer Besomorph reminds us all that the club life will be back with his dance-floor stomping creation ‘Playing With My Heart’. It’s a classic EDM track with bright vocals overlaying bass-heavy beats, but you know what they say, if it ‘aint broke, don’t fix it.
The single utilising themes of addiction to tap into the experience of being addicted to a toxic relationship. For some reason, the dysfunction keeps driving two people together and yet for all the passion, it can never last. Besomorph places emphasis on this with a soulfully dark production that had us hooked from the start.
“We all have been through this. We fall for someone who disrespects us and treats us badly, but we are too weak to put an end to it. We are too addicted to the short pleasure: a toxic chase.”
