Eddie Jones final five debutants side-lined by Steve Borthwick

In December, Steve Borthwick, the new head coach of England, made the decision to part ways with several veteran players, which is widely known.

For his first Six Nations squad, Borthwick dropped Billy Vunipola, Jonny May, and Jack Nowell, making a statement of intent.

Additionally, he has sidelined Eddie Jones’ final five debutants in favor of his own players, including Ollie Hassell-Collins and Ben Curry.

Interestingly, only one of Jones’ final five debutants played in the 2023 Six Nations.

#1. Will Joseph (London Irish)

His powerful running style and versatility caught the eye of Eddie Jones and saw him included in several England training camps towards the conclusion of the 2021/22 campaign, building up to being one of two inclusions in the touring squad to Australia in July 2022.
