Dejan Kulusevski has been speaking to the media following his deadline-day move to Tottenham last week.
The Swede made his debut as a second-half substitute against Brighton as his side breezed past Brighton courtesy of a 3-1 scoreline, and Tottenham fans were already won over by his willingness to run and eye for a pass.

And, judging by his most recent comments, Tottenham fans excitement isn’t likely to dim any time soon, as Kulusevski revelled in the demands made of him by Antonio Conte.
‘When I came here, the training here was much more different from Italy – in a very good way,’ said Kulusevski. ‘People are running faster, everything is faster to try to get us stronger.’
‘So it was very good because that’s what I need – I need my body to feel alive so I can think faster with my head’, continued the Swedish youngster.
“So I’m very happy to be here and the more I train, the easier it’ll be. It’s very good conditions.”
Kane singled out for special praise
As a man who has already played alongside the likes of Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus, as well as with Alexander Isak and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at national level, there was high praise reserved for Harry Kane, who netted twice on Saturday.
Asked how Kane stacks up against other world-class players he has been fielded alongside, Kulusevski provided the perfect response.
‘He is unbelievable. Yes, up there.’
‘What impressed me was his technique, the way he stopped the ball and the way he changes the whole pitch with his passes from both feet. It is amazing really.’
‘And I know that when he has the ball I have to run because he will find me.’
Should the pair form a strong connection, alongside the sometimes telepathic connection Kane already seems to have with Heung-Min Son, they could be a brilliant watch for the rest of the season.
