CONFIRMED: England fined for iconic response to the Haka

England have been reprimanded and fined for their haka facing tactic in Saturday’s Rugby World Cup semifinal win over the All Blacks, according to reports.

The Guardian is reporting that England have been fined ‘a four-figure sum’, however it is less than the fine (£2,500) handed down to France for similar tactics ahead of the 2011 final.

Regulations state opponents must stay in their own half while the war dance is being performed, however England’s players edged into the All Blacks’ territory.

England went into win 19-7 and will face South Africa in the final this weekend.
