Arsenal are the latest side to be linked with Leeds United’s Raphinha.
Recent reports suggested that the Brazilian had a €75m release clause should Leeds stay in the Premier League this term and a €25m clause should the Peacocks go down.
However, Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that only the €25m relegation clause remains in place:
Clarification on Raphinha. There will be no €75m release clause available in Premier League this summer – the only valid clause will be for 25m in case of relegation. #LUFC

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Romano confirmed Arsenal are interested in Raphinha but it is FC Barcelona who are the frontrunners for the winger:
“Cody Gakpo of PSV, this winger, it’s true that Arsenal are keeping tabs on him,” Romano said on his podcast.
“I can tell you that Arsenal also asked for information about Raphinha of Leeds, we were mentioning him from Barcelona. Barcelona are leading the race for Raphinha, but also Arsenal asking information for Raphinha.
“They [Arsenal] are not leading the race because Barca are frontrunners, but they’re looking for that kind of player. And so Gakpo is a player they are following and also Raphinha is a player they like, but it’s really complicated because Barca and leading the race.”

Raphinha’s Leeds stint
Raphinha joined Leeds during the delayed summer transfer window of 2020.
The Yorkshire outfit are believed to have paid Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais around £16m to bring the Brazilian to Elland Road.
And the former Sporting CP man has since gone on to enjoy a fine stint with Leeds.
Though Leeds as a squad have struggled, the South American has continued to impress on an individual basis this term. In 27 Premier League outings so far in 2021/22, Raphinha has managed to score nine goals and provide three assists.
