Arsenal have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Arthur Melo on loan as Juventus are back in the market for a midfielder.
Talks had been progressing, only for the Italian giants to pull the plug due to not having a replacement for Arthur. However, there is a chink of light now, as Romeo Agresti reports that the Old Lady have made a move for Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, which would ease their problems in the centre of the pitch.

Nandez, 26, was linked to Leeds United in the summer, but no move was forthcoming, and now that Leeds dream appears dead in the water as he has continued to impress, and now caught the eye of the Juventus hierarchy.
Of course, this move could as much be cover for the potentially departing Rodrigo Bentancur, who is linked with a move to Aston Villa on a permanent deal. However, no bid has been made yet, which could leave Arsenal in the driving seat.

Vlahovic pursuit over
However, in bad news to Gunners fans it seems as though their pursuit of Vlahovic is finally over for good, as Juventus have made their move.
The Italian side have reportedly offered 75 million euros to Fiorentina for their star man, with a verbal agreement now in place.

This means that Arsenal will have to find another striker to target, with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Alexander Isak and Luka Jovic all considered options.
