Album Review: Kulick – ‘Yelling In A Quiet Neighborhood’

On October 16, Kulick released their first full-length album, Yelling In A Quiet Neighborhood. The album opens with “Crawling,” one of those songs that’s instantly familiar and you’re sure to recognize it anywhere. “Rope” is one of the singles released off of Yelling In A Quiet Neighborhood, and you can check out its lyric video here.

“Just Be Friends” is one of my favorites, and it’s a song that makes you want to jump around and sing along the first time you hear its chorus. The second time I heard it, I wanted to scream along to its lyrics.

Another song that I love is “Monster,” a slower, emotional song, that feels like it ends a bit suddenly.

“Fun!” is a bouncy song with a chorus that I love. Another single released before the album is “The Way I Am,” and its lyric video is filled with childhood pictures and videos.

“Lonely” is a slow, meaningful song filled with keys and emotions. Yelling In A Quiet Neighborhood closes with “Talking to the Ceiling,” and you can watch its lyric video here.

As I was listening to this album for the first time and it was coming to a close, I didn’t want it to end. Yelling In A Quiet Neighborhood not only surpassed my expectations for this album but blew them out of the water. I can’t wait until I can put Kulick’s new album on repeat and spend a long, peaceful drive listening to it.
