These five England hopefuls did their chances no favours with poor performances during the fifth round of the Gallagher Premiership.

#1. Danny Cipriani (Bath)

Somerset Live: “A day to forget for the former England international on his home debut for Bath.

“His poor attempted pass to Jonathan Joseph put five-points on a plate for Max Malins, with insult added to injury by a charging Owen Farrell strong-arming him out of a tackle.

“He was replaced on 50 minutes by the in-form Orlando Bailey, at which point it has to be said Bath improved drastically.”
